What is Love?

What is Love?
Love is
whenever I realize that you are wonderful,
and that I am wonderful,
and from that place of equality,
serve you
and help you become
grander than you already are.
What is Love?
Love is an upward cycle of value creating more value.
Just look at speaking and listening, for example.
Because I admire you so much,
because I like you so much,
because I listen to you with complete attention,
because I see the value in you,
because I see you for the Wonderful Beauty that you are,
you trust me enough,
and you trust yourself enough,
to reveal to me your extraordinary self,
and to reveal to me wonderful insights, wonderful messages, wonderful poems,
and because you reveal to me such wonderful things, I see even more your value in you,
I see in you even more beauty, and thus that inspires you even more to reveal more wonderful creations, and that helps me see even more beauty in you!
It is the same with self-love:
Because I accept myself completely,
because I approve of myself completely,
because I realize that I am not my defeats just as I am not my victories,
because I realize that every thing, every event, helps me remember
who I am,
and so there is nothing to be ashamed of, nothing to be guilty of,
because nothing that happens to me changes the fact that I am wonderful,
because I see the value in me,
because I see in myself the Wonderful Beauty that I am,
I trust myself enough,
I trust my capability enough,
in order to bring forth into the world, for example, a wonderful poem,
and as I see the beautiful creation before me,
I am like, "Wow! That is good!"
And thus I see myself as someone capable of writing beautiful poems,
and that inspires me to write even more beautiful poems....
All you have to do...is believe.

Thank you so much for sharing your poem with me, I believe. Have a wonderful day.
Recently, this poem was published in The Positive People Journal, alongside the writings of internationally known speakers and writers such as Lisa Nichols from the movie The Secret and her book No Matter What.
“Love is an upward cycle of value creating more value.” I love that line & believe too.
