So I recently discovered that I have the gift of healing

I recently discovered the gift of healing after reading The Tenth Insight: Holding the Vision (Celestine Prophecy) by James Redfield , which advocated the giving of energy to people wherever I go. I started doing that three months ago, at first simply visualizing energy going from my heart to others. One day, I wass sitting at the Irvine Spectrum, giving energy to the children playing by the fountain. A child fell down and hurt his knee, and started crying. I suddenlt felt this light energy go through me from outside me and into the child, and he suddenly stopped crying - this was before the mother came to comfort him, and even she was rather confused. She kept asking him, "Are you okay? Are you okay?"
 
In November, I went to the Thanksgiving Miracle Retreat, led by MaryBrenda. There, I was able to take the healing to the next level with several people I healed. While healing one lady from a cold and constriction in her neck, throat and nose, I was able to go to that place where I recognized that, we were both just playing role - she was 'sick' to help me embody that aspect of Divinity known as healing, and I was 'healing' to help her embody the aspect of Divinity known as being healed, and in general, being taken care of, being nurtured, being loved, being the receiving aspect of the Divine. But in reality, there was nothing to heal, no healer and no one that is healed. And then I muttered, "Thank you for the Well-Being."
 
After all, Jesus healed the sick by simply looking them, and saying, "You are well."

I know some Buddhist monks in Burma who heal in exactly the same way: "You are well. Everything is ok."

So, it must be universal.
