If you could start any kind of business, what would it be?

I  don't know quite how to answer this without repeating myself once again.

But I do very much like one of the suggestions in the question itself:

A business that brought the wisdom of the elderly to youth, helping both feel better connected in the world?

I honestly feel that those who bear children are not really fit to raise them - their bodies are well-developed but not their minds - they are barely children themselves. This is why you hear a constant refrain from them about their children - "They mature you."
Of course they do. Of course they do.

In an ideal society, children are not raised solely by their biological parents, but also by a council of elders who have experienced this world and truly understand that most of what we believe in is just utter BULLSHIT.

A gallery to showcase your art, or the art of your community?

This too I like.

Or something altogether different?

Yes, indeed.

I wish to create a company that creates interesting parties that help people know each other and themselves on a very very deep level and allow them to express themselves creatively and freely.

So, here's how it will work:

First hour: mingling and talking and eating and drinking and hugging and greeting.
Next half-hour: concert by an independent singer-song-writer or poet
Next half-hour: time to play together! Materials provided. everybody gather in groups and do a project or create an artistic object together, or just do it solo! Release your emotions through art or create something symbolising world peace or love or even yourself!! Have fun!
Next half-hour: concert by another artist
Next half-hour: play-time! and so on until the last hour
Last hour: people are gathered into pairs, and given a list of questions from my interview-project, requested to interview each other, with the committment to mail or email back the answers within six months to each other!

Last five minutes: everybody holds hand together in a circle, raise their hands into the air and shout: "I love you too!"
and then hug two people!


And here's the kicker: the photographs of the artistic objects will be put in a slide show on dvd, together with videos recordings of the concerts, and a few bits and pieces from the interviews, and put together into a quarterly DVD magazine, and sold on ebay or a niche market!

 This will provide us with the revenue to create future parties - but this part of the project is optional, to be discussed in more detail later on, since there are a lot of questions involved - would the singer-song-writers like to be given part of the revenue from the sale of DVD-magazine? What percentage should each be given? Etc, etc! How about the other people in the party? How much? I

But isn't it cool to come to a party where you get to enjoy yourself, examine yourself and make some money?

Instead of paying thousands of dollars for a personal development seminar - you gain much needed info from the Source Within, the Infinite Wisdom within us and those around, thus realizing that Wisdom is all around us, reducing our dependency, neediness and addictions - and it's not only free, you actually get paid for this!
